Get QC Backup Manager Support and Download Product Resources

QC Backup Manager includes a Support tab that brings the main QuantaCade help links and useful installation context into one place. Use it when you need product guidance, account help, a downloadable walkthrough, or private troubleshooting support.

The Support tab is also a safer way to collect version and environment facts before opening a ticket, because you can copy the facts that matter without exposing Recovery PINs, provider credentials, or private tokens.

Open QCBM Support

  1. Open Components > QC Backup Manager > Support.
  2. Choose the resource that matches what you are trying to do.
  3. If you are troubleshooting, review the Support Information card before opening a support request.

Open the Support Center

Use Open Support Center for private help with setup, licensing, updates, backup Profiles, storage, exports, recovery preparation, and troubleshooting. Account-specific entitlement problems, bug reports, and anything containing private site details belong in support rather than a public community discussion.

Open Your QuantaCade Profile

Use Open My Profile for account-side tasks such as managing your profile, subscriptions or licenses, download access, Authorized Domains, billing records, and support conversations. If QCBM shows the wrong paid tier, the profile and Authorized Domains are often the account-side information you need to check.

Open the Product Page and User Walkthrough

The Product Page links to current QC Backup Manager product information, plan details, compatibility notes, and release resources. The User Walkthrough PDF is the downloadable step-by-step guide for setup and normal operation. Use the walkthrough as a broad operational guide and the Documentation knowledge base for focused topics and troubleshooting.

Use the Support Information Card

The card can report the QCBM version, product code, domain, masked legacy-key state, Base tier, entitlement Status, Effective tier, installation UUID, Joomla version, PHP version and SAPI, server software/hostname, Managed Private Storage path and mode, writability, available space, open_basedir state, and the last storage-fallback reason.

You normally do not need to send every field. Include the details that help identify the installation and reproduce the problem.

What Is Safe to Share

For most support cases, useful facts include the domain, QCBM version, Joomla/PHP versions, Effective tier, installation UUID, relevant storage mode, exact Status message, and the time or Backup UID associated with the failure.

Do not post Recovery PINs, unmasked legacy license keys, entitlement tokens, OAuth secrets, storage-provider credentials, database passwords, or other private credentials in public screenshots or community topics.

Before You Submit a Technical Issue

  1. Open Status and capture the exact warning or failure message.
  2. Note what action you were performing and whether it was manual or scheduled.
  3. If the issue concerns a Backup Set, record its title or Backup UID and the approximate time.
  4. Use the Support Information card to capture the installed version and environment.
  5. Attach only logs or screenshots that are relevant and have been checked for secrets.
