QC Digital Signature Administrator Tabs Explained

QC Digital Signature 2.0.7 has seven current administrator tabs: About, Support, Status, Settings, Identity Verification, User Group Limits, and Custom CSS. These are the customer-facing administration surfaces to document and use.

Some tabs remain visible when a feature is unavailable so QCDS can explain the plan requirement without inventing separate hidden administration screens.

About

About is the product-orientation page. It summarizes the signer-first workflow, reusable request process, protected records, and current product positioning. It does not contain the day-to-day signing workspace.

Support

Support links to QuantaCade support, account tools, the product page, and the User Walkthrough. Its Support Information card shows useful identifiers such as product, version, product code, domain, legacy-key status, entitlement status, Effective tier, and Installation UUID.

Status

Status is the first administrator stop for installation health. It shows Current Entitlement, Installed Product, Automatic Reminder Integrity, Entitlement Automation Integrity, and Extension Update information. It also provides Refresh Entitlement, Manage Authorized Domains, task-repair/open-scheduler actions where applicable, and update checks.

Settings

Settings contains global installation configuration. The current page includes Licensing & Entitlement controls, global sender/mail identity, language/default presentation settings, and plan-limit information. This is also where a retained Legacy License Key can be cleared after migration to Authorized Domains.

Identity Verification

Identity Verification is a Pro/Max feature. The tab remains available to explain that requirement; on an eligible installation it manages the global Didit or Shufti provider profile used for new requests that require provider-backed identity verification.

Only a Joomla Super User can manage the global provider credentials. Basic/Level 1 signing remains available without enabling this higher-verification feature.

User Group Limits

User Group Limits is a Max/All Access control for optional local monthly request allowances by Joomla user group. When the feature is unavailable, the controls are locked and QCDS presents the upgrade requirement instead of silently hiding the tab.

These limits are separate from the installation's Basic/Pro plan-level request allowance.

Custom CSS

Custom CSS is a Max/All Access feature for frontend CSS overrides scoped to the stable .qcds-frontend root. Saved CSS is kept separately from extension files. After a downgrade it remains preserved but is not applied or editable until Max/All Access access returns.

Historical or Internal Names Are Not Extra Current Tabs

The 2.0.7 administrator router maps a number of older or internal tab names into the current seven-tab interface. Names such as Help/Documentation, Audit/Logs, Plans/Entitlements, Workspaces, Documents, Templates, Emails, Requests, Branding, Integrations, and similar historical routes do not represent additional current customer navigation tabs.

If an old guide tells you to open one of those surfaces, return to the current seven tabs and identify where that function now belongs. Do not create menu items or documentation for dormant/internal architecture merely because related service code exists.

  • Need version, entitlement, scheduler, or updater health? Status.
  • Need domain entitlement, sender identity, or global defaults? Settings.
  • Need provider-backed signer identity configuration? Identity Verification.
  • Need Max user-group monthly limits? User Group Limits.
  • Need frontend CSS overrides? Custom CSS.
  • Need product/account/support links or identifiers? Support.
