QCDS Plans and Feature Access: Basic, Pro, Max, and All Access
QCDS keeps Contacts and Templates unlimited on every plan. The main plan differences are new signing-request volume, Identity Verification, Max-only administration features such as Joomla user-group request limits and Custom CSS, and the Authorized Domain allowance attached to the QuantaCade account.
The Effective tier shown by QCDS controls what is available now. It can temporarily differ from the underlying Base tier during a Max Preview or when All Access supplies Max-level capability.

Authorized Domain Policy
Current QuantaCade account policy provides one production domain for Basic, up to five for Pro, and unlimited Authorized Domains for Max and All Access. QCDS itself can continue operating at the Basic feature level without a paid Authorized-Domain entitlement; paid Pro, Max, and All Access capability is resolved from the domain authorized in the QuantaCade account.
The Joomla extension does not ask you to enter a current paid license key. If an old installation still has a saved key, QCDS treats it as legacy compatibility state.
Contacts and Templates Are Unlimited
Do not use Contact or Template counts to determine the QCDS plan. Current QCDS keeps both resources unlimited on Basic, Pro, Max, and All Access. Plan-level usage control applies when a brand-new signing Request is authorized.
Identity Verification
Provider-backed Identity Verification is available on Pro, Max, and All Access. Basic does not authorize new Identity Verification Requests. Existing Requests that were validly authorized and sent retain their frozen transaction state rather than being rewritten when the installation later changes tier.
Max / All Access User-Group Limits
Max and All Access can optionally enable monthly Request limits for Joomla user groups. This is a separate local account-control feature; it does not replace the Basic 5 or Pro 25 plan-level allowance. A user in multiple applicable groups receives the highest configured allowance, an Unlimited group overrides numeric limits, and Joomla Super Users remain unlimited.
Max / All Access Custom CSS
Custom CSS is a Max / All Access feature. QCDS stores saved CSS when entitlement later drops, but it stops applying the CSS and prevents editing until Max-level access is active again. Use the stable .qcds-frontend root selector to scope frontend overrides.
Base Tier vs Effective Tier
Use Components > QC Digital Signature > Status when a feature appears unexpectedly locked or unlocked. The Current Entitlement card shows the Base tier and Effective tier separately. An active 30-Day Max Preview can make Effective tier Max while Base tier remains Basic or Pro. All Access can also supply Max-level QCDS capability without changing the meaning of the underlying product entitlement.
If a Paid Feature Is Missing
- Open QCDS Status.
- Check Base tier, Effective tier, Domain, and entitlement verification state.
- Confirm the hourly Entitlement Revalidation task is structurally healthy.
- Use Refresh Entitlement after correcting the Authorized Domain in your QuantaCade account.
Do not delete saved configuration simply because a higher-tier feature is temporarily unavailable; current QCDS intentionally preserves higher-tier settings where possible.
