Run a Safe First End-to-End QCFUM Test
Your first QCFUM production test should prove two things at the same time: the intended onboarding path works, and the delegated frontend manager cannot exceed the permissions you meant to grant.
Start with Basic workflows and ordinary non-administrator accounts. Add CSV, approvals, automation, Join Codes, or existing-user management only after the simple path is known-good.
Prepare a Safe Test Profile
- Create or review a User Type Profile that maps only to a normal non-administrative Joomla destination group.
- Use a separate staff test account in the exact Joomla group that will operate QCFUM.
- Use a separate test-recipient email address that you control.
- Confirm the unified Dashboard menu item is restricted to the intended staff access level.
Test Direct Create
- Sign in on the frontend as the staff test account.
- Open Create User and use Direct Create.
- Select the safe Profile and create the recipient account.
- Confirm QCFUM never displays a generated temporary password to the frontend manager.
- Check Joomla Users and verify the new account has only the intended direct group memberships.
Test an Invite Link
- From Invitations, create an Invite Link using a safe Invite Pack.
- Confirm Joomla mail delivers the invitation to the intended recipient.
- Complete the recipient workflow in a separate browser/private session.
- Verify the resulting Joomla account and groups.
Verify QCFUM Tracking
Open Recent Users and Tracker. The test should be attributable to the frontend creator and should clearly show the onboarding source/state. If approval was intentionally enabled, verify the pending item appears in the Approval Queue instead of silently bypassing approval.
Test the Security Boundary
- Confirm the staff account cannot reach QCFUM Administrator areas it was not granted.
- Confirm it cannot create users in unapproved destination groups.
- Confirm a Super User or equivalent protected account cannot be selected or changed through delegated user-management controls.
- Repeat the test with the staff account, not Super User; Super User success does not prove delegated ACL is correct.
Add Higher-Tier Workflows Last
After the Basic path works, test Pro CSV/approval/automation features or Max Join Codes/User Manager features one at a time. That keeps failures attributable to one workflow instead of mixing entitlement, ACL, mail, and scheduler changes in a single test.
