Complete Account Setup with a Join Code

Join Code completion creates a normal Joomla user through the workflow defined by the selected code’s Invite Pack and User Type Profile. The registrant supplies the account identity and password; QCFUM supplies the approved groups, tracking, approval state, and workflow context.

The same server-side completion path supports a guest/public Join Code flow and an authenticated frontend manager. QCFUM deliberately prevents a manager-driven Join Code creation from switching that manager’s session into the newly created account.

Submit the Account Details

Enter the Join Code, Name, Email, optional Username, Password, and Confirm Password. QCFUM requires the Join Code feature, validates the code’s current state, reloads the Pack/Profile, and reserves one use when applicable.

The Code Determines the Onboarding Configuration

QCFUM passes the code’s Profile ID, Invite Pack ID, Join Code ID, source type join_code, source label, and current Pack/Profile approval requirement into the normal Joomla user-creation routine. The user-supplied password is allowed for this workflow, so no temporary generated password is exposed.

Approval Can Leave the New Account Pending

If the linked Pack/Profile requires approval, the Joomla user can be created blocked with QCFUM tracking status pending. The approval workflow must then be completed before the account becomes normally active.

Successful Completion and Redirect

Successful Join Code creation is recorded in QCFUM created-user history with the Join Code/Pack/Profile context. Post-setup redirect and optional auto-login follow the site settings, but auto-login is not used to replace an already authenticated frontend manager with the account they just created.

Failure Releases the Reserved Use

If account creation fails after QCFUM reserved a limited Join Code use, the reservation is rolled back. Fix the reported identity, Profile/Pack, approval, or Joomla validation problem and retry rather than manually adjusting the use counter.
