QC Live Forum Plans and Feature Access: Basic, Pro, Max, and All Access
QCLF 1.1.27 calculates an Effective tier of Basic, Pro, Max, or All Access and uses that result server-side when paid features are requested.
All Access is normalized to Max-equivalent feature access inside QCLF. A healthy Entitlement Revalidation task is required for entitlement above Basic to remain effective.

Base Tier vs Effective Tier
The stored/base commercial tier and the current Effective tier are related but not identical. A one-time Max Preview can temporarily raise effective access to Max. All Access is reported as an entitlement source and provides Max-equivalent QCLF features.
If Entitlement Revalidation is missing, unpublished, duplicated, or scheduled too slowly, QCLF intentionally falls back to Basic effective access until the task is healthy.
Downgrade Behavior
QCLF is preservation-first. Existing premium configuration and content are not supposed to be deleted merely because Effective tier drops. Instead, paid controls/features become unavailable until entitlement again satisfies the requirement.
That distinction is especially important for saved Custom CSS, custom email configuration, Watch Party/Broadcast records, and forum structure that exceeds a lower tier’s creation limits.
Troubleshoot a Missing Feature
- Open Status and confirm the Effective tier.
- Confirm Entitlement Revalidation is healthy at the required hourly-or-faster schedule.
- Check the relevant Section/Category feature setting and user action permission.
- Check current Topic/session state.
- Only after those checks should you suspect missing files or reinstall the extension.
