Use the QCLF Following List
The signed-in Following list shows accessible Topics for which your account still has a QCLF Topic subscription row. It is intentionally broader than “reply email is on.”
A Topic can remain Following because another Topic subscription channel—such as live notifications—still exists even when reply notifications are off.
Browse Followed Topics
- Sign in and open Following.
- Review the accessible followed Topic rows, ordered by latest activity.
- Open a Topic normally, or use Unfollow on the Following row when you want to remove the Topic subscription completely.
What Counts as Following
Following joins the current user’s Topic subscription rows to visible, approved, non-deleted published/archived Topics. It does not require notify_replies=1.
This matters for live Topics: a live-only subscription can still make the durable Topic appear in Following.
Visibility Still Wins
The list first computes Categories the current member can view. A followed Topic that later becomes inaccessible, deleted, unapproved, or outside published/archived state is not exposed in the Following list.
The subscription record can remain stored even when the Topic is temporarily not shown.
Unfollow from the List
The Unfollow action on the Following list removes the entire Topic subscription row. That ends all subscription channels stored on that Topic row, including reply/live notification flags and its per-follow Email/On-site delivery settings.
This is different from toggling one notification channel on the Topic page.
Ordering and Pagination
Following is paginated 20 Topics at a time and sorts by last_activity_at descending, then Topic ID. It uses the normal Topic-row presentation and does not change global notification preferences.
