Configure Required, Customer Entry, Customer Visibility, and Member Edit Rules
Configure who enters, sees, and can later edit each Plan Custom Field, with QCMM enforcing the allowed combinations and saving subscription-specific policy snapshots.
Customer Entry and Required Rules
Customer Enters Value determines whether the field is rendered as a customer input at checkout. Required applies only when customer entry is enabled; QCMM will not make an Admin Only field required at checkout.
Visibility and Member Editing
A customer-entered field is automatically customer-visible. An Admin Only field can separately be Customer Visible or Internal. Customer Can Edit in Member Area is supported only for Repeating Text fields; enabling it also makes the field customer-visible. Member editing is available only through the active-membership workflow and remains subject to the saved snapshot and current field availability.
Subscription Snapshots Matter
When QCMM creates the subscription, it saves the field label, type, entry policy, visibility, editability, entry limit, and ordering with that exact subscription. This keeps purchases independent from later definition changes. Some deliberate Plan-policy changes, such as visibility/editability settings on an existing assignment, can be synchronized by the Plan save workflow, but QCMM does not treat the Joomla user as the Custom Field record.
Test the Exact Role
Verify checkout as a customer, Additional Information as the member, and Admin Only fulfillment with the configured fulfillment role. A Super User test alone does not prove customer or fulfillment authorization.
