Scope Plan Resources and Configure Access / Current Release

Control whether a Plan Resource belongs to one Plan or its Plan Group, who can see it by subscription state, and which Download is the Current Release.

Choose the Scope

This Plan only ties the Resource to the edited Plan. All Plans in this Plan Group shares it with Plans in the same group and requires the Plan to belong to a Plan Group. Moving a Plan does not silently move or delete a shared Resource that belongs to its previous group.

Choose the Access Rule

Active subscriptions only shows the Resource only when the membership counts as active. Active + previous subscriptions allows the Resource to remain available to the member’s eligible historical subscription record.

Mark a Current Release

Only a Download Resource can be marked Current Release. QCMM permits one Current Release for the Plan scope and one shared Current Release for the Plan Group scope. Selecting a new one clears the older Current Release marker without deleting the older Resource.

Verify the Member View

Test an active member and, when using the historical-access rule, a previous member. Confirm that Plan-only and group-shared Resources appear only in the intended memberships and that the Current Release badge identifies the intended Download.
