Use Title, Divider, and Spacer Layout Elements with Custom Fields

Use Title, Divider, and Spacer items to organize a Plan’s customer-facing Custom Fields without creating stored subscription values.

What the Layout Items Do

Title, Divider, and Spacer are display-only Plan layout items. A Title requires text and can include a description; its size is Standard or Small. A Divider renders a visual rule. A Spacer adds Small, Medium, or Large vertical space. None of these items creates a Custom Field value or subscription snapshot.

Place Them in the Plan Layout

  1. Open the Plan and its Custom Fields section.
  2. Add the reusable data fields customers or fulfillment staff need.
  3. Add Title, Divider, or Spacer items between those fields and drag the complete layout into the intended order.
  4. Save the Plan and test checkout with a normal customer account.

At checkout, QCMM keeps layout items in their saved order around eligible customer-entry fields. It removes leading Divider/Spacer items and trailing display-only items so an Admin Only field does not leave an orphaned heading or gap at the end of the customer form.

Where Else They Appear

The frontend Field Fulfillment workspace also uses the current Plan layout to organize exact-subscription field snapshots. Layout items provide structure there, but the editable data still comes from the subscription’s saved field snapshots.
