Configure and Review the Plan Comparison Table
Plan comparison is a Plan Group feature. When Enable plan comparison for this group is turned on, QCMM builds a customer-facing Compare Plans section from the group’s published structured Plan Features.
There is no separate comparison-visibility checkbox in QCMM 2.0.21. A published structured feature can participate in comparison; Show on Card controls only whether that feature is highlighted on a Plan card.
Enable Comparison for a Plan Group
- Edit the Plan Group that should offer comparison.
- Enable Plan comparison and save the group.
- Edit each Plan and create/publish the structured Plan Features customers should be able to compare.
- Use consistent feature keys or Compare as labels when the same concept should share one comparison row.
- Open the public Plans page and expand Compare Plans below that group’s cards.
Which Features Become Rows
- Only published structured Plan Features are loaded for comparison.
- QCMM supports up to 50 saved/published structured features per Plan; comparison is not limited to the eight card highlights.
- Features are matched by their feature key when present; otherwise QCMM derives the comparison identity from the comparison label/title.
- A shared Compare as label is useful when different Plan wording should still align on the same row.
- Row ordering follows the structured feature order and then title/label behavior used by the renderer.
How Comparison Values Render

Card Highlights Are Separate
Show on Card is a catalog-card presentation choice. QCMM currently limits card highlights to eight, while comparison can use the broader set of published structured features. Do not hide a feature from the card and assume that also hides it from Compare Plans.
Which Plans Appear
- Only Plans that are published, not archived, and currently visible to the viewer participate in the rendered group comparison.
- A Plan hidden by Joomla-group/Plan visibility rules is not exposed merely because another Plan has a matching feature row.
- Comparison is customer guidance; it does not override checkout, subscription, entitlement, or Joomla access authorization.
Review the Customer Experience
- View the Plans menu item as the same audience the catalog targets.
- Confirm the intended Plan cards render before checking comparison.
- Expand Compare Plans and verify row names, custom values, inclusion states, and ordering.
- Check a Plan with no value for a row and make sure the result is correctly shown as not included.
- If a row is duplicated unexpectedly, normalize its feature key or Compare as label across the relevant Plans.
