Export QCMM Reports to CSV with Custom Field Columns

Export filtered QCMM reports to CSV with permission and CSRF checks, streamed batches, formula-safe cells, and exact subscription Custom Field context.

Export Uses the Current Report Context

Export CSV carries the selected report type and active report filters. QCMM requires the reporting/exports feature plus administrator component-management permission and validates a Joomla GET CSRF token before starting the export.

Large Exports Are Streamed

QCMM writes CSV directly to the response and loads report rows in batches of 500. It does not build the entire export in memory first. When complete, QCMM records a report_export_stream_complete audit event with the report type and exported row count.

Custom Field Columns

Current reportable Custom Field definitions are appended as CSV columns. Subscription, Expiring, Expired, and Cancelled rows use their subscription ID directly. Billing, Refund, Payment Event, and Account Credit rows are mapped to an exact subscription through their billing/payment relationship when possible. Plan Activity has no singular subscription context, so its Custom Field cells remain blank.

Custom Field Values

QCMM exports the stored value for the resolved subscription, using display values for choice-style fields where available. Repeating Text values are newline-separated, while Date values intentionally remain canonical YYYY-MM-DD.

CSV Safety

Control characters are removed except tab/newline/carriage return, line endings are normalized, and cells whose first non-space character is =, +, -, or @ are prefixed to reduce spreadsheet-formula interpretation.
