Select Files and Use the QCSB Action Bar

This article shows how to select one or more visible items and understand which actions require exactly one item, which support multiple items, and how plan/permission rules affect the current action bar.

Selection workflow

1. Use the custom checkbox beside each file/folder you intend to act on.
2. When selection is active, review the action bar; QCSB shows only actions that make sense for the current selection/context.
3. For actions that require one item (such as Rename or a single-file Download), select exactly one.
4. Before a bulk action, verify the active filter/page because Select All applies to the currently shown rows.
5. Clear/change selection after the operation and confirm the affected folder listing refreshes.
