Use the Frontend QCSB Transfer Center

This article explains how to read the transfer center at the bottom of the Workspace, review active/recent jobs, watch progress, and keep browsing while current transfers continue.

What you need to know

  • QCSB uses durable jobs but follows an immediate-first model: the request attempts ordinary work immediately, and only unfinished work remains for continuation.
  • Pro/Max/All Access can use the 5-minute Transfer Continuation task. The worker rechecks the original user’s current authority before contacting a provider.

How to do it

  1. Open the frontend Workspace and expand Transfers at the bottom of the page.
  2. Review recent jobs, their operation type, progress, and state.
  3. Open Details for a job to see safe per-item failure messages without provider secrets/private credentials.
  4. Use Cancel on an active/queued job when appropriate, or Retry failed items after a failed, warning, or cancelled result.
  5. Refresh/allow the automatic progress updates until the job reaches a terminal state: completed, completed with warnings, failed, or cancelled.

Verify the result

  • The durable job reaches the expected terminal state: completed, completed with warnings, failed, or cancelled.
  • Successful items remain successful; failed/retried items report their own sanitized outcome.
  • For a Move, the source is removed only after the destination is verified and the source has required Recovery protection.
