Use the QCSB Destination Chooser

This article explains how to choose from the locations and folders currently authorized as operation targets, including destination-only locations, instead of typing arbitrary provider paths.

What you need to know

• Copy/Move authorization is directional: QCSB checks the source-side permission and the destination-side permission independently.
• Move is destructive only after the destination has been written and verified; the source is Recovery-protected before removal.

How to do it

1. Select the source item(s) and start Copy to… or Move to….
2. Review the destination chooser. QCSB lists only destinations where the current user has the required copy-in or move-in permission.
3. Choose the destination connection and navigate to the authorized target folder.
4. Confirm the operation. A destination does not need to be open as a visible panel to be selectable.
5. If a destination you expect is missing, check its Workspace membership, current user role/override, enabled state, and plan/provider availability instead of trying to forge the destination request.
