Customize QCSB Frontend Text

This article explains the two current text scopes—Shared Workspaces and My Private Storage—and how optional heading, description, typography, and color overrides are applied.

What you need to know

  • Frontend Text has two current scopes: Shared Workspaces and My Private Storage. Blank content fields preserve the Workspace/private default text while styling can still apply.

How to do it

  1. Open Components → QC Storage Bridge → Frontend Text.
  2. Use the Shared Workspaces scope for installation-wide heading/description overrides on normal Workspaces.
  3. Use the separate My Private Storage scope for its heading/description and independent text styling.
  4. Leave a heading/description blank when the individual Workspace name/description should remain the content source.
  5. Save Frontend Text and verify both a normal Workspace and the private dashboard/connection manager where applicable.

Verify the result

  • Refresh the actual frontend Workspace rather than relying only on the Administrator save message.
  • Verify the change with a normal user and at the screen sizes used in production.
  • Confirm the change did not alter permissions, connection roots, or other independently saved design sections.
