Drag and Rearrange QCSB Storage Panels

This article shows how to reposition reorderable storage views using the panel handle and drop zones, understand administrator-fixed panels, and preserve the resulting layout preference.

How to do it

1. Open the Workspace with multiple visible panels.
2. Drag a panel using the panel rearrangement control/handle to the desired position.
3. Drop it into the target position and allow the frontend to save the user’s layout preference.
4. Reload the Workspace and confirm the order persists.
5. Remember that panel order is presentation only; it does not change the Workspace’s connection membership or access rules.

Verify the result

• Refresh the actual frontend Workspace rather than relying only on the Administrator save message.
• Verify the change with a normal user and at the screen sizes used in production.
• Confirm the change did not alter permissions, connection roots, or other independently saved design sections.
