Resize QCSB File-List Columns and Restore Their Widths

This article shows how to resize supported file-list columns, understand per-workspace/panel browser persistence, and double-click a resize handle to return a column to its default width.

How to do it

1. Open a file panel with the columns you want to adjust.
2. Drag the resizable column boundary to give long names or metadata more/less room.
3. Check that full filenames remain available through the row tooltip even when a column is narrow.
4. Use the frontend’s reset/restore behavior for column widths if the saved widths become impractical.
5. Verify the result at the screen sizes your users actually use; desktop column preferences should not make the narrow/mobile view unusable.

Verify the result

• The Recovery item/state matches the action you performed.
• A restored/downloaded item matches the expected content and destination.
• Purge/cleanup does not erase the historical audit trail.
