Start the One-Time 30-Day Max Preview in QC Storage Bridge
This article explains that the current Max Preview lasts 30 days and starts only after an authorized administrator explicitly starts it; installation, frontend use, refreshes, and Scheduled Tasks must not silently start a virgin preview.

What you need to know
- Basic includes Local storage and the first active Workspace. Pro adds FTP/SFTP, multiple Workspaces, advanced permissions, and background continuation. Max/All Access adds Google Drive, OneDrive, Private Connections, Recovery Vault management, and bulk operations.
- A plan gate decides whether a feature exists at the current Effective tier. Joomla access and QCSB permission rules separately decide whether a particular user may use that feature.
How to do it
- Open Components → QC Storage Bridge as an administrator allowed to manage entitlement.
- Use the explicit Start 30-Day Max Preview action shown by the current entitlement interface. Merely installing QCSB, opening its pages, refreshing entitlement, or running Scheduled Tasks must not start an untouched preview.
- Complete the authorization/verification flow if QCSB asks the site to prove control of the current Authorized Domain.
- Return to Status and confirm Base tier remains the underlying entitlement while Effective tier becomes Max for the preview period.
- Record the preview end date. Reinstalling QCSB or changing the local installation UUID must not create a second preview or extend the original dates.
Verify the result
- Status shows the expected Base tier and Effective tier.
- Verification/domain state is current and the hourly Entitlement Revalidation task is healthy.
- Stored Workspaces/connections remain intact if Effective tier falls.
Important limits and mistakes to avoid
- Do not reintroduce obsolete key-entry or short-preview instructions; 1.01.08 uses Authorized Domains and the explicit one-time 30-Day Max Preview.
