QC Storage Bridge Production Go-Live Checklist

This article shows how to verify entitlement, task health, storage tests, Workspace permissions, recovery capacity, Joomla Mail, cron strategy, provider OAuth/trust state, representative frontend accounts, and update readiness before launch.

What you need to know

  • Basic includes Local storage and the first active Workspace. Pro adds FTP/SFTP, multiple Workspaces, advanced permissions, and background continuation. Max/All Access adds Google Drive, OneDrive, Private Connections, Recovery Vault management, and bulk operations.
  • A plan gate decides whether a feature exists at the current Effective tier. Joomla access and QCSB permission rules separately decide whether a particular user may use that feature.

Checklist

  1. Confirm QC Storage Bridge 1.01.08 is installed and Status reports the expected Effective tier.
  2. Verify all four Scheduled Tasks are published, unique, correctly scheduled, and have healthy recent runs.
  3. Confirm the private storage path is outside the public web root, writable, and sized for recovery/staging needs.
  4. Test every production Storage Connection and confirm its exact root/subdirectory policy.
  5. Test every important Workspace role/override with normal user accounts, including an intentionally denied account.
  6. Exercise upload, folder creation, download, rename, copy, move, delete, conflict handling, Transfers, and Recovery protection as applicable.
  7. Verify Google/OneDrive callbacks, Private Storage isolation, notifications/Joomla Mail, updates, and mobile/narrow frontend behavior where those features are used.
