Troubleshoot QCSB Installation and Runtime Requirements

This article shows how to diagnose unsupported Joomla/PHP combinations, missing dependencies, incomplete package/plugin installation, routing errors, and environment warnings using Status before changing provider configuration.

Troubleshooting procedure

  1. Open Status and confirm Joomla/PHP are supported, the package version is 1.01.08, and required plugins are present.
  2. For remote providers, confirm cURL and OpenSSL readiness; for protected-folder ZIP downloads, confirm ZipArchive readiness.
  3. Check the OneDrive callback readiness indicator and connector readiness cards.
  4. Reinstall the current outer package over the existing installation if component/task/connector files are incomplete.
  5. After repair, clear Joomla/browser caches and repeat one representative provider/Workspace test.

If it still fails

  • Change one variable at a time and repeat the same small test after each correction.
  • Use QCSB sanitized errors/Status/Test Connection before changing unrelated provider or Joomla settings.
  • If the issue remains, collect version, provider type, Workspace/user role, task state where relevant, and sanitized messages for support. Never include secrets.
