Connect, Reconnect, or Disconnect a Google Account

This article shows how to manage the OAuth account bound to one Google Drive connection, review the connected account identity, reconnect when consent changes, and disconnect without affecting unrelated QCSB connections.

How to do it

  1. Edit the saved Google Drive connection.
  2. Use Connect Google Account for a new saved connection that has Client ID/Secret configured.
  3. Use Reconnect Google Account when authorization changed, a refresh token is no longer usable, or a different Google account must own the connection.
  4. Use Disconnect to remove active QCSB authorization without deleting Google Drive files.
  5. After Connect/Reconnect, run Test Connection and verify the configured exact root—not a parent folder—is the visible boundary.

Troubleshooting

  • If the provider is unreachable, test the connection in Administrator before troubleshooting the Workspace UI.
  • Keep passwords, OAuth secrets/tokens, private keys, and unrestricted private paths out of public screenshots and support posts.
