Enabling the Free QuantaCade Task Nudge Service

Enable the free Task Nudge service from the Dashboard when you want QuantaCade to maintain registration and provide external Joomla WebCron wake-ups.

Enable the service

  1. Open the QCTNH Dashboard.
  2. In the Service card, check Enable free QuantaCade Task Nudge service.
  3. Choose the desired Maximum Scheduler Delay.
  4. Click Save.

What happens next

If a valid registration identity is missing, enabling triggers registration. If the stored registration is valid, QCTNH sends a signed service_state update so QuantaCade resumes polling. If the current request origin differs from the registered origin, automatic resumption is blocked to protect clone/migration identity.

Verify the result

  • Health card shows Service: Enabled.
  • The connection badge is Connected once registration/WebCron identity is valid.
  • Recent Activity may show service resumed.

Interpreting a stable result

After using Enabling the Free QuantaCade Task Nudge Service, a stable QCTNH system should settle into a coherent set of indicators: native WebCron ready, service state matching your choice, scheduler health consistent with current locks/due work, and recent service contact when registration/check-ins succeed.

Temporary transitions are normal—for example, Working while a task lock is active or Due while queued work waits. The goal is not to force every metric to green at every instant; it is for the metrics to accurately describe Joomla’s real scheduler state.
