Saving QCTNH Service Settings
The Dashboard Save button commits Maximum Scheduler Delay and service enable/pause together, then tries to synchronize the resulting state with QuantaCade.
Save settings
- Choose the Maximum Scheduler Delay.
- Set the service checkbox to Enabled or Paused.
- Click Save.
- Read the Joomla message displayed after redirect back to Dashboard.
Success and warning messages

| Remote sync succeeds | Settings were saved and QuantaCade service state synchronized. |
| Remote sync fails | Settings were saved locally; QCTNH warns that service-state synchronization will retry automatically. |
Why local save comes first
An administrator’s pause/enable choice should not be discarded just because a remote network call is temporarily unavailable. QCTNH therefore persists the component parameters before synchronizing remote state.
Change one variable at a time
When adjusting Saving QCTNH Service Settings, make a single deliberate change, Save where required, and then read the resulting Dashboard/Recent Activity state. This avoids confusing a timing-setting change with an unrelated WebCron or task failure.
Use Check WebCron when you only need local readiness confirmation. Reserve Test Connection for a full service-registration probe, because its real WebCron request can give Joomla one eligible task-execution opportunity.
