On first run, QCTNH prepares native Joomla WebCron, creates local installation credentials, and registers the site’s WebCron endpoint with the QuantaCade wake-up service.

First-run sequence

  1. QCTNH confirms Joomla’s System - Schedule Runner plugin exists and enables it when necessary.
  2. It confirms the Joomla Scheduler component exists, enables WebCron, and creates a native WebCron key if missing.
  3. QCTNH creates an installation UUID and an encrypted local service secret if they do not already exist.
  4. It builds the exact Joomla-generated WebCron URL, respecting SEF/non-SEF routing and any Joomla base subdirectory.
  5. QCTNH sends the installation identity, origin, WebCron endpoint/key, version information, Maximum Scheduler Delay, and scheduler next-due snapshot to QuantaCade.
  6. QuantaCade validates the public target and calls that native WebCron endpoint as the registration probe. Because this is a real WebCron request, Joomla may execute one eligible due task during the test.
  7. After a successful probe, the local component records the registered origin and a hash of the current WebCron key and shows Connected.
