What QC Task Nudge & Health Does
QC Task Nudge & Health improves the reliability of Joomla Scheduled Tasks by watching scheduler state, coordinating external wake-ups, and using Joomla’s own WebCron execution path.
The problem QCTNH solves
Joomla Scheduled Tasks only run after Joomla’s scheduler is triggered. Busy sites may receive enough traffic for Lazy Scheduler to trigger often, but quiet sites can leave backups, cleanup, notifications, synchronizations, and other due jobs waiting longer than intended. QCTNH adds a separate reliability path without replacing Joomla’s Scheduler.

What stays under Joomla control
QCTNH never chooses a specific Scheduled Task ID and does not directly call another extension’s task code. The wake-up is a normal Joomla WebCron request. Joomla’s scheduler checks its own queue, task state, eligibility, locking, and execution rules, then runs the next task it considers eligible.
What you manage in QCTNH
The Dashboard exposes the free service switch, Maximum Scheduler Delay, connection tests, WebCron readiness, scheduler health, next-due information, QuantaCade contact timing, and recent local activity. The About, Support, and Status tabs provide product orientation, support/account links, and update status.
