What Due Scheduler Health Means

Due is a specific QCTNH scheduler-snapshot condition, not a generic opinion about the entire Joomla site.

What Due means

No active/stale lock condition takes priority and at least one eligible web-runnable task has next_execution at or before now. The queue is waiting for execution attention.

What should happen next

If QCTNH is Enabled, Connected, and WebCron Ready, the central service should already have or soon receive due timing and provide a native WebCron execution opportunity. If Due persists, check Recent Activity, QuantaCade Contact, and WebCron connectivity.

Verify Due with the queue

Open Joomla Scheduled Tasks and compare the task rows that are actually due. QCTNH’s Due count intentionally excludes disabled rows, CLI-only rows, tasks without a next execution time, and task types Joomla no longer exposes as available routines. If Joomla shows only excluded work, investigate the individual task configuration rather than expecting WebCron to run it.

Interpret the state with precedence

For What Due Scheduler Health Means, QCTNH’s health label is a summary, not the whole snapshot. Error conditions come from failed discovery/query operations; recent active locks produce Working; stale locks produce Attention; due eligible work produces Due when no lock state takes precedence; otherwise the result is Healthy.

Always read the individual Due Tasks, Active Locks, Soft / Stale Locks, CLI-only Tasks, and WebCron fields when diagnosing an unexpected label.
