QCTNH 2.0.3 Compatibility Reference
QCTNH 2.0.3 is built for Joomla 5.x and 6.x on PHP 8.1 or newer, using Joomla’s native Scheduler/WebCron APIs rather than a private task-execution engine.

Task compatibility
A task must be enabled, non-CLI-exclusive, have a non-null next execution time, and belong to a currently registered Joomla Scheduler routine to participate in the web-runnable eligibility set. CLI-only tasks require a CLI/server-cron path.
Upgrade caution
Before adopting a future Joomla major release, verify a QCTNH release explicitly supports it. The 2.0.3 package intentionally rejects Joomla 7+ as outside this baseline.
Operational limits are deliberate
The constraints documented in QCTNH 2.0.3 Compatibility Reference—public origin, standard ports, exact Joomla route, no CLI-only execution through WebCron, bounded retries, and no automatic stale-lock clearing—are safety/reliability design choices rather than missing configuration switches.
A workload outside those boundaries should use the appropriate Joomla/server mechanism instead of trying to make QCTNH bypass the task author’s or network’s execution model.
