QCTNH 2.0.3 is a focused reliability layer for web-runnable Joomla Scheduled Tasks: it prepares native WebCron, securely schedules external wake-ups, reports scheduler health, and leaves task execution authority with Joomla.

Capabilities

  • Prepare/enable native Joomla WebCron and create a key when missing.
  • Register the exact public native WebCron endpoint with QuantaCade.
  • Wake quiet sites using schedule-aware timing rather than fixed high-frequency polling.
  • Track due web-runnable tasks, next due time, active/stale locks, and CLI-only counts.
  • Report Healthy/Working/Attention/Due/Error states.
  • Protect installation identity across clones/migrations and synchronize WebCron credential drift.
  • Provide Test Connection, Check WebCron, service pause/resume, update/support/status tools, and Recent Activity.

Limits

  • Does not replace Joomla Scheduler or choose a specific task ID.
  • Does not run CLI-only tasks through WebCron.
  • Does not automatically clear stale locks or repair a failing third-party task.
  • Public wake-up service requires a safely reachable public origin; private/reserved targets and non-standard ports are outside current service validation.
  • A real migration/origin change needs explicit Test Connection confirmation.
  • HTTP/TLS/WAF/server constraints can still prevent a WebCron request and must be corrected at that layer.

Operational model to remember

QCTNH wakes Joomla; Joomla runs the task. That distinction is the key to correct configuration and troubleshooting.
