Understanding the QCTNH Update Connection
The QCTNH update connection is Joomla’s extension-update relationship with QuantaCade’s canonical QCTNH update site, not the Task Nudge wake-up service connection.
Canonical update endpoint
QCTNH 2.0.3 synchronizes the update-site record named QC Task Nudge & Health Updates to QuantaCade’s product-code update XML endpoint for qc-task-nudge. The package associates the site with the QCTNH package extension and disables duplicate QCTNH update-site records when found.
Separate the two connections

Why this distinction matters
A site can be Connected to the Task Nudge service while its Joomla update site is disabled, or have a healthy update connection while QCTNH registration is broken. Troubleshoot the status that corresponds to the function that failed.
Post-action verification
After completing Understanding the QCTNH Update Connection, return to the relevant QCTNH tab and confirm the state actually changed: version/update fields for update work, Dashboard connection and Recent Activity for service work, or the intended QuantaCade destination for support/account links.
A browser navigation or successful button response is only the first half of verification; the resulting QCTNH/Joomla state should match the action you intended.
