Confirming I Reviewed This Update in the Laboratory
The review confirmation is the explicit human gate between a completed laboratory test and production readiness; QCUL records it against the exact tested item.
Step-by-step procedure
- Finish the manual laboratory review first.
- Return to the tested update row on the production QCUL Laboratory tab.
- Select the confirmation stating that you reviewed this update in the laboratory.
- Save/submit the confirmation as presented.
- QCUL records the review against that exact tested item; the production-readiness workflow checks it again before push.
What the confirmation does
It tells QCUL that a human actually opened/reviewed the private updated site. Production readiness still rechecks package identity, starting version, live-site identity, permissions, worker/storage state, and production protection; the checkbox does not override failed technical checks.
What it does not mean
It is not a warranty that every site feature works. It is your record that the relevant site-specific acceptance work was completed and that you are ready to evaluate a controlled production push.
Read evidence in context
Use Confirming I Reviewed This Update in the Laboratory together with the other evidence for the same tested item. A version check, route check, log message, screenshot, or file/database diff is strongest when it agrees with the surrounding evidence and your own reproduction in the private laboratory; no single signal should be treated as universal compatibility proof.
