When Undo Lab Update Is Available

Undo Lab Update is available only for the latest laboratory update when the active lab still has a valid restore point for that test.

Eligibility conditions

• The laboratory is still active.
• The tested item is the latest applicable lab update.
• Its pre-test restore point completed and still exists.
• Refresh Laboratory or Remove Laboratory has not deleted the restore point.
• No incompatible later lab state makes an older checkpoint unsafe to apply underneath newer changes.

If the button is missing

Do not manually swap files/tables to imitate an undo. If the current lab cannot be safely restored, refresh from production and run a new clean test.

Production is irrelevant

Undo Lab Update changes only the private copy. It can be used before any production push and remains conceptually separate from the optional temporary production checkpoint/Undo Production Push feature.

Preserve a known starting state

When Undo Lab Update Is Available is useful only when the restore point and current laboratory belong to the same latest test operation. If you cannot prove that relationship, refresh the laboratory from current production and perform a new test rather than manually reconstructing a state and reusing old evidence.
