Resuming an Interrupted Production Push

Production push work is restartable across bounded requests; if the browser/request is interrupted, QCUL preserves operation state so you can continue instead of launching a second production change.

Step-by-step procedure

  1. Reopen QC Update Laboratory → Laboratory on production.
  2. Read the saved production state/message. Do not start a second push.
  3. Use the displayed resume/continuation action if QCUL says the operation is restartable.
  4. If maintenance/site availability was changed and needs explicit recovery, use Restore Site Availability only after reviewing the current live state.
  5. Complete validation and live review before considering the operation finished.

Production work has priority

QCUL’s heavy-operation locks prevent concurrent lab/production work from racing. Resume the existing production operation or rollback to a defined end state before starting other QCUL actions.

Production change rule

For Resuming an Interrupted Production Push, the live site should change only through the explicit tested-item production workflow after current readiness checks pass. Do not substitute a new package, skip the review/protection decision, or run a second production action while QCUL already owns an active push/rollback state.
