Reviewing the Live Site After a Production Push

The live-site review is the administrator’s final acceptance step after production installation and before the temporary rollback window is allowed to expire.

Step-by-step procedure

  1. After a completed production push, select Review Live Site.
  2. Confirm the expected extension or Joomla version is installed.
  3. Open representative public routes and the Joomla administrator.
  4. Test authentication, menus, forms/editors/media, and any integration directly affected by the update.
  5. Check for new PHP/browser errors, broken styling/assets, redirects, or access failures.
  6. Confirm site availability/maintenance state is correct, then retain the report and decide whether the update stays or must be undone while a valid checkpoint exists.

Decide inside the rollback window

If a serious regression is found and you selected a valid temporary QCUL checkpoint, start Undo Production Push promptly. Do not spend the entire checkpoint window investigating while the rollback option expires.
