Procedure

  1. Stay signed in to Joomla Administrator as a Super User.
  2. Click Impersonate User in the administrator top bar.
  3. Enter the target’s exact Joomla username.
  4. Click Login. The form opens a new browser tab and creates the short-lived one-time handoff.
  5. Leave the original administrator tab open while the new tab continues into the frontend.

Verify the result

  • The original administrator tab remains authenticated.
