Why normal logout is avoided

Joomla logout behavior can be configured to destroy other sessions belonging to the same user. Calling that routine from an impersonation support tab could unexpectedly sign the real customer out elsewhere.

QCUI’s targeted end

QCUI instead converts only the current impersonated frontend session to guest. It clears QCUI state in that session without intentionally touching the target user’s independent sessions.
