Configuring the Handoff Token Lifetime
Configuring the Handoff Token Lifetime is a practical QCUI 1.0.03 workflow. Follow the current Joomla path and verify the resulting administrator/frontend state rather than relying on an older impersonation method.
Location: Joomla Administrator.
Procedure
- Open System → Manage → Plugins → System - QC User Impersonation.
- Set Handoff token lifetime (seconds) to a value from 30 through 300.
- For most sites, keep the 60-second default unless the handoff routinely expires before the new tab can consume it.
- Save the plugin and start a fresh impersonation to test the new lifetime.
