Membership Overview
QC Task Nudge & Health is completely free and includes both the Joomla extension and the Task Nudge service. It watches when Joomla is expected to need scheduler attention and, when appropriate, sends a secure wake-up through Joomla's native WebCron system.
Task Nudge does not replace Joomla's Scheduler or directly execute extension code; Joomla remains responsible for selecting and running eligible Scheduled Tasks. The external wake-up path helps quiet sites run backups, maintenance, notifications, cleanup, synchronization, and other scheduled work closer to the expected time and can often remove the need for a separate server cron job. QCTNH also provides scheduler health, service status, recent activity, diagnostics, and registration-recovery tools.
