Membership Overview
QC User Impersonation is completely free and requires no QuantaCade license key or paid tier. It lets Joomla Super Users open the frontend as another eligible user without knowing or changing that user's password, making it useful for support, ACL testing, membership and portal troubleshooting, menu and module visibility checks, and other user-specific frontend behavior.
The administrator session remains open separately while a short-lived one-time handoff creates the frontend impersonation session. Super User targets, blocked users, password-reset-required accounts, and users without frontend login permission are rejected. A visible draggable notice identifies the impersonated account and provides a direct way to end impersonation.
